    Sports Infrastructure (Play Fields)

    Along with academic results, students’ interest and best results in sports are also essential for all-round development. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is committed to the all-round upliftment of children. Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 Indore has two playgrounds. The beauty of both the grounds in L shape is worth seeing. The ground in front of the Principal’s room and the ‘Udgaar’ stage of the prayer assembly adjoining the main entrance of the building is where the morning prayer is held every day, and Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, volleyball court, basketball court, kitchen garden, gym/exercise equipment and Indian folk behavior games like Sitoliya etc. are played.
    There is a big playground in the back area of ​​the school building, where football, cricket, athletics, running etc. are played as well as sports festivals are organized. The work of repairing the grounds is also going on.

    Indoor games like table tennis, badminton, chess etc. are taught to the students. There is a provision for table tennis in the Vivekananda auditorium of the school, while badminton is practiced inside the school building in front of the Prayas stage.

    Yoga practice is also done in the three stages and Vivekanand Auditorium located in the school and lectures are organized on the importance of yoga and its contribution to health.
